Gas Detector and Shutoff valve is a combined household Combustible gas detector (CH4) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector. It operates on a 110v power with a backup 9V rechargeable battery. It has an audible alarm of 70 db and a voice warning. It is also equipped with a 1/2 " gas shut off valve which automatically closes when the alarm is raised. The valve must be manually opened after the emergency situation is resolved.
This stable, highly sensitivity device integrates high quality semiconductors and advanced electrochemical concentration detection equipment for accurate real life censoring.
For example, for combustible gas leakage the alarm will sound at or before 5% of LEL (Lower Explosive limit). Atmospheres with a concentration of flammable vapors at or above 10% LEL are considered hazardous when located in confined spaces.
With carbon monoxide leaks, the alarm operates in Stages. There will be no alarm when the concentration is less than 50 PPM, however, if the level detected is between 50PPM and 99PPM there will be an alarm within 60 to 90 minutes. When the detected level is 100PPM to 299PPM the alarm is sounded between 10 minutes and 30 Minutes. For concentrations greater than 300PPM there is an Alarm within 3 minutes. If there is a Carbon Monoxide leak that raises the alarm the Valve will also shut off the combustible gas line.
A Rechargeable 9V battery is included with each device. Any recharging of the battery that is needed is accomplished within the device when the main power supply is reconnected.
Home Safe Wi-Fi Gas Alarm
The Home Safe Wi-fi Alarm monitors for combustible household gases such as Natural gas, Biogas, and Methane. It is connected to the Smart Life App through which it can signal The Home Safe Brute Actuator to close the supply line valve.
It also notifies the Homeowners through voice message from the device and through the Smart Phone of any Gas Alarm event and it emits an 80db siren.
The digital display shows the current gas level in the immediate atmosphere. It is powered by a 110v input and 5.4V output adaptor with an activation and reset button located on the top of the device.
The Device is paired with the Brute Wi-Fi Actuator, which is installed on the manual in line ball valve, through the Smart Home App where the Actuator can be instructed to close the gas valve when the device alarm is activated by gas vapors.
Multiple sensors can be paired with the Actuator through the App. Each sensor can close the Actuator. The Actuator can also be closed remotely through the App and manually at point of installation. The Brute Actuator is suitable for connection to 1/2" up to 1" gas lines.
Brute Wi-fi Valve Actuator
The Home Safe gas detector can be paired with the Brute Wi-Fi Actuator, which is installed on the manual in line ball valve, whereby the Actuator can be instructed to close the gas valve when the device alarm is activated by gas vapors.
Multiple Home Safe Gas sensors can be paired with the Actuator through the App. Each sensor can close the Actuator. The Actuator can also be closed remotely through the Smart Home App and manually at point of installation. The Brute Actuator is suitable for connection to 1/2" up to 1" gas lines.
